Delete your MumbleBee account
MumbleBee is developed by Rustam Guseynov. This page explains how to delete
your MumbleBee account and what happens to your data.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the MumbleBee app and sign in.
- Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top right corner of the home screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all of your data:
- your account and email address;
- all child profiles, photos and growth entries;
- all saved memories, including every audio recording;
- your family sharing page and all files published to it.
No data types are kept after deletion. Encrypted server backups that may
contain your data expire automatically within 8 days.
Delete some of your data without deleting the account
You can remove individual pieces of data at any time, right in the app:
- A single memory or recording: swipe it left in the list and
confirm, or open it and tap Delete Memory. The audio file is
removed from our servers immediately.
- A child profile: open the child's profile and tap
Delete child - this removes the profile, its photos, growth
entries and all of its memories.
- The family sharing page: Settings →
Turn off family sharing - the shared page and all files
published to it are deleted immediately.
You can also email support@mumblebee.app
to request deletion of specific data; we complete such requests within 7 days.
If you cannot access the app
Email us at support@mumblebee.app
from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm
and complete the deletion within 7 days.
Tip: before deleting, you can download everything from
Settings → Your data → Export my data - all recordings and words
in one ZIP file.
